- CCC Team for the 2019 Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne:

Paweł Bernas (POL)
Josef Černy (CZE)
Kamil Gradek (POL)
Gijs Van Hoecke (BEL)
Nathan Van Hooydonck (BEL)
Guillaume Van Keirsbulck (BEL)
Fransisco Ventoso (ESP)
Sports Directors: Valerio Piva (ITA)

- Valerio Piva (directeur sportif, CCC Team): "Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne is more of a sprinters’ Classic so we have made the decision that Greg (Van Avermaet) won’t race and instead the other riders will have an opportunity to go for a result. Paweł Bernas, Kamil Gradek and Josef Černy will line up on Sunday to replace Greg, Michael, and Łukasz, so between the seven riders, we have good options for all race scenarios.  As we have seen in recent years, it can be difficult to avoid a bunch sprint at Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne so we will aim to race aggressively and be part of a small group that goes to the line."

- Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo) won the 2018 Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne and he is expected on the start line in 2019 to defend his title.  Others expected to start include: Ackermann, Jungels, Stybar, Naesen, Van Poppel, Doull, Stannard, Demare, Kung, Stuyven, Theuns, Trentin, Colbrelli, Owen, Breschel, Boasson Hagen, Nizzolo, Valgren, Ferrari, Betancur, Bouhanni, Boom, Greipel...

- News: Groenewegen wins Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne. (Cyclingnews) - Demare second, Colbrelli third.

- Julien Vermote (Team Dimension Data) came close to winning the 2018 KBK.  Said Vermote post-race: "I felt quite good today. Yesterday I was a bit off, I missed some important information at crucial points and that cost me some energy. It was disappointing. I am always motivated to race my bike but today, the finish was just 2km from my house. I took my chance in the final, I had nothing to lose but believed I could do something. I got 12 to 13 seconds with the other 2 guys but on these wide roads, with a big bunch chasing, it's difficult. When I saw dropped them, and they were shouting in the radio for me to go, I kept pushing. It's such a pity to come so close like that, it would have been great to win but we take the positives from today."

- Tristan Hoffman (Bahrain-Merida D.S.): "Our leader will be Sonny Colbrelli, of course who is feeling great, both mentally and physically after his Middle East races and a stage victory at Tour of Dubai  We believe he is the ideal choice for classic races like these are. He proved it last season. Sonny feels really comfortable at Belgium Classics and with a huge support of his Belgian "Daytona Fan Club"".

- JP Heynderickx (Sport Director, Team Dimension Data): "It is exciting to be part of Opening Weekend this year and be racing a full classics program once again. We have a good team, riders with a lot of experience and knowledge of these roads which is always important for a good result in the Belgian classics. Having Julien in our squad this year gives our classics team a massive boost, so I think you will see a motivated performance from the guys this weekend and naturally we will race to win."

- Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) won the 2017 Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

- Official Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne Start List.

- Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo) won the 2018 Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne ahead of Arnaud Démare and Sonny Colbrelli.  Groenewegen after his victory: "I may have won this sprint very easily, but the two hundred kilometres before that were anything but easy. It was cold, very windy and at times the pace was very high. After the Oude Kwaremont the peloton broke into several groups and I ended up in the third group. But the team brought me back to the front perfectly. This way, I could get back in a good position."

- The 2018 Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne is being held Sunday, February 25.
