- Rik Verbrugghe (Bahrain-Merida directeur sportif): "We really have a very competitive team starting from Vincenzo Nibali and the brothers Gorka and Ion Izagirre without forgetting Sonny Colbrelli and Enrico Gasparotto. We have more solutions and we will see during the race how it will be better to move, of course the guys are very motivated and they all come from good performances."

- Bahrain-Merida for Amstel Gold Race:

Vincenzo Nibali
Sonny Colbrelli
Grega Bole
Enrico Gasparotto
Gorka Izagirre
Ion Izagirre
Franco Pellizotti

- Rik Verbrugghe (Bahrain-Merida directeur sportif): "It's a more complicated finish, the road is very small and certainly those who pass first on the Cauberg will try to attack immediately downhill. For the rest, I expect the usual very stressful competition for a race that I consider a mix between the Ronde and the Liège: there are no cobbles, but the climbs are much longer and harder."

- News: 11 riders to watch at the Ardennes Classics.  (Cyclingnews) - Valverde, Gilbert, Kwiatkowski and Sagan among the favourites.

- News: 10 riders to watch in the women's Ardennes Classics.  (Cyclingnews) - Strength and experience on the start line of Amstel Gold, Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

- News: Gallery: A look back at the Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - Looking back at the recent past in the Dutch Classic.

- News: Niewiadoma and Ferrand-Prevot form two-pronged approach at Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - 'No one wins the Ardennes races alone' says Niewiadoma.

- Preview: Amstel Gold Race 2018 - Preview.  (Cyclingnews) - New finale means unpredictable racing for first Ardennes period event.

- Preview: Amstel Gold Race Women's WorldTour 2018 - Preview.  (Cyclingnews) - Who can rival Anna van der Breggen?

- Team Dimension Data for Amstel:

Tom-Jelte Slagter
Serge Pauwels
Ben King
Jaco Venter
Johann van Zyl
Scott Davies
Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier

- JP Heynderickx (Team Dimension Data directeur sportif): "From Sunday on we are starting a new kind of races, the Ardennes Classics which are completely different from the races that we had before, the   Cobblestones Classics. First one is Amstel Gold which is a very hard one with 35 climbs or so in it. Knowledge of the parcours is very important, which is why we did a recon on Friday of the last 70km of the race.  We have a couple of riders who know the parcours in Tom-Jelte Slagter and Serge Pauwels. The latter last week was in really good condition and he’s ready to put in a big performance in the coming weeks."

- News: Mitchelton-Scott announce Amstel Gold Race squad.  (Cyclingnews) - Albasini, Impey and Kreuziger all options for Australian team.

- News: Van der Breggen confident in Boels Dolmans line-up for Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - 'I think they are all really nice races, whether I win or not' says defending champion.

- News: Last orders for Cunego at Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - Italian set for final Classic, ten years after his win.

- BMC Racing roster for Amstel Gold Race:

Alberto Bettiol (ITA)
Damiano Caruso (ITA)
Alessandro De Marchi (ITA)
Simon Gerrans (AUS)
Michael Schär (SUI)
Dylan Teuns (BEL)
Greg Van Avermaet (BEL)

- Valerio Piva (BMC Racing directeur sportif): "Of course, we are lining up to win the race. Greg Van Avermaet is our leader but we also have Dylan Teuns who is in great shape and riders like Damiano Caruso, Simon Gerrans, and Alessandro De Marchi coming out of Vuelta al Pais Vasco in good shape. Gerrans has been on the podium on three occasions and we have riders who have lined up many times, so we have a lot of experience at Amstel Gold Race."

- News: Gilbert, Alaphilippe and Terpstra join forces for the Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - Quick-Step Floors again opt for a multiple leader strategy.

- News: Van Avermaet to end spring Classics campaign at Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - BMC squad includes Teuns, Gerrans and Caruso.

- News: Peter Sagan confirmed for Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - Bora-Hansgrohe name team for Sunday.

- News: Van Avermaet turns to Amstel Gold after Paris-Roubaix loss.  (Cyclingnews) - 'I knew it would be hard to repeat the series of victories' says BMC rider.

- News: Poels, Kwiatkowski and Henao lead Team Sky at Amstel Gold Race.  (Cyclingnews) - Dutchman recovers from fractured collarbone for home Classic.

- Quick-Step Floors for Amstel Gold Race:

Julian Alaphilippe (FRA)
Philippe Gilbert (BEL)
Bob Jungels (LUX)
Davide Martinelli (ITA)
Enric Mas (ESP)
Pieter Serry (BEL)
Niki Terpstra (NED)

- Wilfried Peeters, Quick-Step Floors directeur sportif: "We are lining up with a strong squad, hoping that we can be in the mix when the race is decided and perhaps repeat last year’s success. The final has changed again, so we will have narrower roads in the last kilometers, which can play in favor of the breakaway. Staying in front will be important as the roads make it hard to organize a chase."

- Anna van der Breggen (Boels-Dolmans) won the 2017 Women's Amstel Gold Race.  Philippe Gilbert (Quick-Step Floors) won the men's race.
