Flèche Wallonne LIVE video

Notes:  (latest notes always appear at the top, below sticky notes)

You've heard of the Giro d'Italia. The Giretto d'Italia, or "Little Giro," is a charity ride created by an American father and daughter team, Gene Nacey and Nina Wilczek. They need sponsors and riders. They are riding the first 5 stages of the Giro next month ahead of the peloton.  Click here for more info.

- If you have satellite coverage, MJ Ray has Fleche Wallonne info in our cycling via satellite blog here.

- Someone asked about "CET" vs. "CEST" for Europe times.  Technically, most of Europe is on "CEST" (summer time) but "CET" is the more common designation year-round.  In fact, 20 years in Europe and I've rarely seen people use "CEST".  Most cycling websites also use "CET" year-round, as do our European correspondents.  -Pete

- The Giro del Trentino starts today with a Stage 1 Individual Time Trial. There is no live television coverage but there is a Giro del Trentino live ticker here.

- The 2009 Fleche Wallonne is officially underway with the peloton having just finished riding in the neutral zone in the streets of Charleroi.  The official site ticker is now live.
