- Pascal Ackermann (Bora-Hansgrohe) after winning the prologue: "I had originally trained for the Tour de France, so I am in good shape at the moment. In the race itself I was then motivated to show exactly that and gave my best. At the same time, I was also happy with the weather, since it started to rain after my run. Now there are two mountain stages on the programme, where I will support my teammates. Then on the last stage I want to fight for the victory again."
