2012 Paris-Nice winner Bradley Wiggins (Sky) cemented overall victory by winning the final stage Time Trial up the Col d'Eze in Nice.  It was the start of a career season for Wiggins who then went on to win the Tour de Romandie, Criterium du Dauphine, and of course the Tour de France and Olympic Gold.  Who will succeed Wiggins as Paris-Nice winner in 2013?

Maxime Monfort (RadioShack Leopard), shown above in last month's Tour Mediterraneen where he finished second in the TT and was race leader after the stage to Mont Faron before finishing 4th overall, is also a rider to watch in 2013.  He finished 7th overall in the 2012 Paris-Nice.

Andrew Talansky (Garmin Sharp) in last month's Tour Med TT where he finished 11th.  Talansky had a great 2012, finishing second to Wiggins overall in the Tour de Romandie and 7th overall at the Vuelta a Espana.  Talansky leads Garmin-Sharp at this year's Paris-Nice.

Jean-Christophe Peraud (AG2R) on his way to an epic victory last month on Mont Faron, high above the port of Toulon, on Tour Mediterraneen Stage 4.  Alas, Mont Faron unfortunately is not featured in this year's Paris-Nice.  Peraud leads AG2R at Paris-Nice.

2008 Paris-Nice: Race leader Robert Gesink, his yellow jersey under pressure by a breakaway, had to lead a chase group into Cannes himself on the penultimate stage.  Gesink lost the jersey and finished 4th overall in Nice.  He leads Blanco at the 2013 Paris-Nice.
