- The Sportwereld ticker doesn't sit well with full page Google or Babelfish translation.  But you can copy/paste text from the ticker into the Translate text box of Google's Language Tools page.  Select Dutch as your source text, select the language you want it translated to and click the Translate button.

- Sportwereld ticker changed their start time, so looks like they're at least somewhat active from 13:00 CET, 5 minutes ago.

- Looks like the earliest live ticker coverage (on CN) won't get underway until 14:30 CET (8:30am U.S. Eastern).

- Tom Boonen, by raising his arms too early, literally got posterized by Mark Cavendish in this race last year.  In a different manner, Thor Hushovd no doubt got posterized when he overcooked that corner in Paris-Roubaix as Boonen took off. (If you missed it, check out Bernard Papon's photo sequence in yesterday's "Tour de Cycling - Tuesday".)  Cavendish is not back to defend at the GP de l'Escaut as French speakers call it.
