- We monitored this race yesterday for a possible live video feed but here is the 2011 Japan Cup Cycle Road Race Criterium as recorded live by the organizers October 24.  The total recording is about 1 hour and 40 minutes including the parade of teams at the beginning.  Thanks Bernie S. in the UK and thanks Tomomi in Japan for this.  Tomomi reports that around 75,000 spectators showed up for the road race, won by Dan Martin of Garmin-Transitions, and around 30,000 showed up for the criterium.  The video below is of the criterium.  Tomomi says the road race will air in November.  The official website is here.  Teams are listed here (Saxo Bank, Milram, Garmin, Katusha, Bbox Bouygues Telecom etc.), including a special team made up of individual riders such as Japan's own Fumiyuki Beppu of RadioShack.

- The race itself starts at around 40 minutes, 45 seconds into the video.  The winner crosses the line at around 1:23:00 into the video.
