2010 Tour de France:  President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, left, welcomed Tour director Christian Prudhomme and the French riders that distinguished themselves to an informal gathering at the Elysee Palace.  It was a great Tour for the French with six stage wins, the king of the mountains jersey, a couple of days in yellow, and the super-combatif award for most aggressive rider in the race.
