Voigt finished 7th in the 2003 GP des Nations TT, ahead notably of Fabian Cancellera.  The 70km TT was won by Michael Rich in a time of 1 hour, 31 minutes and 1 second.

2004: The 3-stage Criterium International during the years in the Ardennes was the perfect race for Voigt.  He won the event a record-tying 5 times.
