UCI Cyclocross World Cup,
Kalmthout, Belgium, delayed on
wcsn.com
(
wcsn.com coverage
for the U.S. market begins at 1pm U.S. Eastern)
Start List
(.pdf)
Cycling.tv
is showing the UCI Cyclocross World Cup live to markets
outside the U.S. Presumably the race is on the free main channel,
with better quality available on the
UCI Live
channel. Coverage looks to begin at 15:00 CET.
Update: Cyclocross:
Kalmthout
via satellite info
on our satellite coverage blog
In Belgium, the Cyclocross World Cup will be shown live
on VRT. In Spain, it will be on TVE
Teledeporte. News coverage in Denmark will be
on TV2, in France news coverage will be on
France Télévisions 2/3. Italy's RAI Sport
should have some highlights, as should NOS in
The Netherlands. Eurosport should also have
highlights on news programs across Europe.
Dates in the UCI Cyclocross World Cup:
October 21: Kalmthout (BEL)
October 27: Tabor (CZE)
November 11: Pijnacker (NED)
November 24: Koksijde (BEL)
December 2: Igorre (ESP)
December 8: Milan (ITA)
December 26: Hofstade (BEL)
January 13: Liévin (FRA)
January 20: Hoogerheide (NED)
If you are not familiar with cyclocross, check out some of
the coverage. The events lend themselves well to TV coverage
with multiple fixed cameras. As you can see from the dates above,
cyclocross will just about get us to the start of the 2008 road cycling
season in Europe as well as February's Tour of California.

Our deepest heartfelt condolences to
Bernie S.
for the loss of his wife, Jenny.
As many of you know, Bernie is a key member
of our team all season long helping us to help you follow pro
bike races online. Bernie, who raced competitively in
the U.K. in his teens, credits Jenny for re-awakening his passion
for this sport following a visit to the 1989 Kelloggs Tour. Bernie
says that after some time off from the world of cycling, he will
be back, as Jenny would want.
Please don't hesitate to
send a note
to Bernie S. I'm sure he would appreciate it. -Pete
