- They certainly seem to be enjoying themselves at the Tour of Portugal, with plenty of music and dancing on the live video streaming.  Apparently today's stage, a final stage individual time trial, won't begin until around 16:55 CET (10:55am U.S. Eastern).

- The wcsn.com live broadcast of the Deutschland Tour has begun. The Tour of Burgos live video streaming has also begun.  (click on "Alternative Burgos live video stream" below)

- Breaking News:   Team Unibet to disband.  Yet another team bites the dust with the announcement today that the Unibet team will disband at the end of the year following the withdrawal of the title sponsor.  Obtaining ProTour status this season was the kiss of death for the team as top race organizers, led by Tour organizer Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), denied the team access to their races as part of a deliberate attempt to undermine the Union Cycliste Internationale's (UCI) reform for cycling.  (cyclingfans.com with Reuters/Yahoo )

- Reminder:  Today's delayed WCSN.com broadcast of the Deutschland Tour begins at 3pm U.S. Eastern.  Today's stage is the Team Time Trial event.  Tomorrow's (Sunday) stage will also be a delayed broadcast, scheduled to start at 12pm U.S. Eastern.  Live broadcasts are scheduled to resume on Monday.  Stages can also be viewed post-stage on demand and a monthly pass is only $4.95.  This automatically renews at the end of the month but WCSN.com tell us you can cancel before auto-renewal.  To sign up, U.S. only, click on one of the WCSN.com banners.

- That was an exciting finish today at the Tour of Portugal, with Eladio Jimenez of Karpin-Galicia taking the win ahead of home-country favorite and former USPS/Discovery Channel rider, José Azevedo of Benfica.  The live video streaming was working pretty well.

- Tour of Portugal Stage 6 video feed is on now.  We mislabeled the ticker Stage 7.  Sorry for any confusion.

Notes:

- U.S. correspondent Sarah reports that she was able to improve viewing of the wcsn.com video feed by following instructions in their FAQ, specifically the question of watching the feed in your own media player.  She highlights their tip about performing the steps quickly before authentication times out.  "They aren't kidding when they say fast. I did it before the video loaded properly and that worked."

- We've added another Deutschland Tour ticker, in German but with live graphics , to our Live Guide.

- Breaking News:  "I've never committed a doping offense. I've never been involved in any act of doping," Contador said. "My promise against doping is absolute."   ("Tour de France winner Alberto Contador denies doping allegations")

- The wcsn.com live video coverage of the Deutschland Tour has begun.

- WCSN's live coverage of the Deutschland Tour requires a subscription but it is only $4.95 for a month's access.  You can sign up here.

- Breaking News:  The Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team, unable to find a new sponsor, will disband following the 2007 season, according to a report at latimes.com.

Reports say that George Hincapie will join the T-Mobile team in 2008.

If confirmed, the news of Discovery Channel's disbanding will mean that Jonathan Vaughters' Team Slipstream will likely be the top U.S. team in the European peloton in 2008.
