- Tomorrow's Giro d'Italia 12,9km Mountain Time Trial starts at 10:00 CET (4am U.S. Eastern) when the first rider is scheduled to depart.  (Start time subject to change.)  Giro live coverage on cycling.tv is scheduled to begin at 15:05 CET (9:05am U.S. Eastern).  The NRK Giro d'Italia live broadcast should begin at around 15:00 CET (9am U.S. Eastern).  Coverage on Rai Sport should also begin at around that time.

- The Eurosport France audio feed also now live with the Giro.

- Eurosport English live audio stream has unexpectedly switched from tennis to the Giro.

- Giro live now on NRK and Rai Sport.

- Reminder:  Eurosport switches to covering French Open tennis starting today.  Their Giro coverage has been bumped to Eurosport 2.  We are looking for a Eurosport 2 audio stream , but we've never had one before.  We don't know if doing a rain dance would help rain out Roland Garros and get Giro coverage back on the main Eurosport channel...  Meanwhile, you can watch the French Open (sans audio) on the Tiny Eurosport live video stream.  (Okay, not funny.)

- Giro d'Italia live broadcast on NRK has begun.  "Hallo" everyone.  (They are first showing highlights of yesterday's stage.)

2008 Tour of Italy: Alberto Contador (Astana) after Stage 14
2008 Giro d'Italia:
Alberto Contador (Astana) after yesterday's Stage 14.  Contador lost time to rivals Denis Menchov, Franco Pellizotti, Riccardo Ricco, Gilberto Simoni, Marzio Bruseghin, and Danilo Di Luca but is within 5 seconds of the new race leader, Gabriele Bosisio (LPR Brakes).

- Today's Giro d'Italia Stage 15 departs Arabba at 12:35 CET (6:35am U.S. Eastern) and is expected at Passo Fedaia/Marmolada (Dolomiti Stars) between 16:57 and 17:31 CET (10:57 and 11:31 U.S. Eastern).  Giro live coverage on NRK is scheduled to begin at 14:20 CET (8:20am U.S. Eastern) and on Rai Sport at 14:30 CET (8:30am U.S. Eastern).  Eurosport is switching over to coverage of the French Open tennis tournament, with Eurosport 2 picking up the Giro (live coverage begins at 16:00 CET for those that have Eurosport 2).  cycling.tv is not showing the Sunday stages.

- Wow.

- Eurosport UK live audio stream is playing again.  (Thanks, Robert.)

- Regarding problems with the Eurosport English live audio feed:  Several of you have noted that the Eurosport UK live audio stream has stopped working.  It was working for us earlier but a quick check just now resulted in no audio playback at this time.  As one would expect, demand is very high today, surely the highest of the race thus far.  There likely are just too many people trying to listen to that feed.  A quick check of the Eurosport France audio feed shows it is working fine.  (Anyone who understands French but is listening to the Eurosport UK feed might consider switching to the Eurosport France feed to make room on the UK feed for others...)

- Reminder:  Starting tomorrow, Sunday, current links for the Eurosport UK live audio feed will be playing the French Open tennis tournament and NOT the Giro d'Italia.  We are looking for an alternative Eurosport English live audio feed.

- We have added medium and low bandwidth Giro combo players (NRK video and Eurosport UK audio).

- Giro d'Italia live on cycling.tv  (required multiple attempts to verify, so keep trying if you are having a hard time getting in)

- Giro live now on NRK, Rai Sport, and Eurosport.

- Tomorrow's Giro d'Italia Stage 14 departs Verona at 11:50 CET (5:50am U.S. Eastern) and is expected to arrive at Alpe di Pampeago/Val di Fiemme between 16:57 and 17:34 CET (10:57 and 11:34am U.S. Eastern).  Giro live coverage on cycling.tv is scheduled to begin at 14:40 CET (8:40am U.S. Eastern).  NRK live coverage should get underway at around 14:35 CET (8:35am U.S. Eastern).  Giro coverage on RAI Sport starts at 14:45 (8:45am U.S. Eastern) with their live broadcast of the stage starting by around 15:15 CET (9:15am U.S. Eastern).  The Eurosport schedule for tomorrow says Giro d'Italia live coverage begins at 14:30 CET (8:30am U.S. Eastern).  So....everyone will be with the race earlier tomorrow for a big mountain stage.  Should be a great one.

- Regarding Eurosport live audio feeds:  Starting Sunday, Eurosport will switch to covering the French Open tennis tournament at Roland Garros.  Their Giro live coverage will be bumped to Eurosport 2.  Unfortunately, we currently are unaware of a Eurosport 2 live audio feed.  But if we find any, we will list them.  If you know of any Eurosport 2 live audio feeds, please let us know .

- Eurosport's David Harmon on the subject of Viagra as a performance-enhancing drug (PED) in cycling (the father of a rider in the Giro was found with large quantities of the drug, resulting in the rider's team removing him from the race):  Apparently there have been studies that show that Viagra helps the body to adapt more quickly to altitude.

- Mini Editorial:  On banning race radios.  (Sean Kelly was just talking on Eurosport about the ASO threat to ban race radios from the Tour de France.)  The myth that riders are simply remoted-controlled by their team directors has caused some, including Tour director Christian Prudhomme (never a pro rider himself), to suggest that the racing would be better without two-way radios.  Suggesting that race radios be banned even as French roads have become more dangerous for racing, with more traffic islands and other obstacles is irresponsible.  It also ignores the fact that a big part of the use of two-way radios involves the directeur sportif gathering information FROM the riders.  The riders should stand up to Prudhomme and to ASO and resist this ridiculous, misguided idea of banning race radios.  Will they?

- Giro d'Italia live on cycling.tv .

- The Eurosport France audio feed is playing today's stage of the Giro live with Patrick Chasse and Jacky Durand commentating. As far as we know, the Eurosport English and French feeds are the only live audio feeds working at the moment.

- Eurosport English audio stream now live with today's stage of the Giro.

- RAI Sport Giro d'Italia live video stream has begun, mixed with some rider interviews at this morning's stage start.  NRK Giro live coverage is also getting underway.  Eurosport English audio feed should go live with today's stage of the Giro as soon as the replay of yesterday's stage is over.

- Today's Giro d'Italia Stage 13 departs Modena at 12:55 CET (6:55am U.S. Eastern) and is expected in Cittadella between 17:01 and 17:27 CET (11:01 and 11:27am U.S. Eastern).  Live coverage on cycling.tv is scheduled to begin at 15:05 CET (9:05am U.S. Eastern), on NRK at 15:00 CET (9am U.S. Eastern) and on Rai Sport at 15:10 CET (9:10am U.S. Eastern).  Eurosport Giro live coverage should start at around 15:00 CET (9am U.S. Eastern).
