The 2008 Tour de Picardie (France) began yesterday and finishes
tomorrow, Sunday. Riders on the start line include Robert Hunter,
Baden Cooke, Leif Hoste, Bert Roesems, Herve Duclos-Lassalle, Jimmy Casper,
Romain Feillu, Nicolas Jalabert, Sebastian Siedler, Philippe Gilbert, Tom
Steels, Laszlo Bodrogi, Alexandre Moos, Antonio Cruz.
Slipstream Chipotle are racing at Picardie and have
brought Martijn Maaskant, Steven Cozza, Huub Duyn, Tyler Farrar, Michael
Friedman, William Frischkorn, Christophe Laurent, and Kilian Patour.
There isn't a lot of media coverage for ASO's Tour de Picardie but we should
have some video here later today.

According to the

Alberto Contador
of Astana was involved in a crash not quite 100km into today's stage.
He was able to continue but his teammate
Steve Morabito, also
involved in the crash, has had to abandon the race.
