Liège-Bastogne-Liège Live Video Streaming Sunday

For viewers in North America, cycling.tv will be the best bet for live video streaming, with English commentary, of Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Live coverage is scheduled to begin at 14:05 CET (8:05am U.S. Eastern).

Eurosport will also broadcast LBL live. Coverage should begin at around 14:00 CET (8:00am U.S. Eastern). There should be at least one Eurosport live video stream webcast available. We do not yet know what internet geo-restrictions might apply.

If any other video streams go live online for this race, we will list them in our Live Guide in the morning. We will of course also list live tickers and graphics.

Relatively few survive and only one has the right combination of talent, skill, experience, teamwork and luck to win. Timmy Duggan, 2003 Grand Prix des Nations

Tim Duggan of Slipstream-Chipotle is in the hospital recovering from a serious crash in the Tour de Georgia two days ago. We send out our best wishes for a full and speedy recovering.

Tim is an excellent time trialist and competed in several editions of the now defunct Grand Prix des Nations time trial, riding for Team USA.

I met Tim nearly five years ago when he was just getting started in Europe...

I was in Dieppe, France shooting the 2003 Grand Prix des Nations, a long 70km individual time trial event whose past winners include Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Lance Armstrong. I made a point to arrive early so that I could also shoot the shorter 35km event that the U23 riders would be competing in; doing so is a great way to become familiar with the up and coming riders. But I also knew that media coverage is very poor for U23 events compared to the Elite field...and U.S. riders in Europe were far from home and their families often found that photos of them in competition were difficult to find.

These guys work incredibly hard in this difficult sport. I spoke to Tim at that 2003 event about his start in Europe and before I knew it he was asking me about my being in Europe. Incredibly generous with his time. I'll always remember that.
